How to Watch the Mt. Rubidoux Fireworks Up Close.

Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery will again host a July 4 fundraiser that will bring guests close to the fireworks at nearby Mount Rubidoux.

The 12th annual Front Row Fireworks event is set for Tuesday, July 4, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will support the “mission of preserving Evergreen Cemetery,” a news release states.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 3 and above. Active military personnel and those 2 and younger are free.

Guests may bring coolers, picnic baskets, blankets, lawn chairs and wagons. Food and drinks can be purchased from vendors. Ransom Rock will play hits from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

A free Kid Zone will have inflatable jumpers, face painting, a magician/balloon artist, games and arts and crafts. A scavenger hunt also will be staged.

Evergreen docents will give tours of the downtown cemetery, where many of historic Riverside figures are buried. The cemetery is at 4414 14th St.
